- Understanding how to engage, and partner with First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples on major healthcare infrastructure projects
- Examining practical steps towards integrating indigenous perspectives throughout the lifecycle of a healthcare project
- Identifying opportunities to build a health system that honours the Indigenous traditional health and wellness practices, values, and practices into the design: smudging rooms, healing gardens
- How to construct these spaces in consultation with indigenous partners
- Recognizing community specific health service priorities
- Ensuring culturally safe care is provided and accounting for them in building specifications
- Exploring examples of impactful project elements created with indigenous community partners
