Biography
Esther Zdolec joined Infrastructure Ontario in November 2013 as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, after a 13 year career with SNC-Lavalin’s Power and Operations and Maintenance divisions. Most recently, Esther was the Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Candu Energy Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of SNC, created with the acquisition of the commercial reactor operations division of Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd. In 2011. Prior to joining SNC-Lavalin, Esther held progressively senior HR positions in the financial services industry and the broader public sector.
In her current role, Esther is responsible for a team of HR professionals delivering talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, health and safety, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, payroll, and HR consulting services to the organization.
Esther holds a degree in Labour-Management Relations from the University of Toronto, a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation, and has advanced leadership and coaching training.
