Hudak pledges to create one million jobs in Ontario, Jan. 13. So Tim Hudak is going to save Ontario. He is going to freeze the public service. Perhaps he didn’t notice that freezing the public service wages over the past five years to give tax breaks to corporations did not create jobs. Instead we lost 45,000 jobs last month. Ontario’s energy minister said the province will look into how to help thousands of people who depend on propane as their main source of heat, but so far has not offered any specific solutions. “We’re looking into it, and we’re concerned about it, and hopefully we’ll have some answers in the next several days,” said Minister of Energy Bob Chiarelli.
