We are hiring a Market Intelligence Analyst to join our Marketing team! They will support the delivery of competitive insights and identify key market trends to enable the development of new products.

Headquartered in Toronto, CI has grown to produce more than 140 events each year, attended by thousands of senior delegates from across the country.

What You Will Do:
  • Research and explore identified topic areas with the goal of discovering focus for conference themes for new product launch
  • Conduct competitive research to generate actionable insights and recommendations
  • Explore conference product opportunities by researching market profiles, trends, sizing, market access
  • Extrapolate data to provide industry market sizing by product category, attribute, competitor, market share, price, mix and route to market segment
  • Gather market data and effectively communicate key findings to team in a clear, compelling and concise manner
  • Provide in depth data analysis around channel, brand, product, price, promotion, and placement from industry sources and other intelligence
  • Track and analyze new competitor brand entrants and product launches
  • Develop a new product launch opportunity analysis and present to key Executives in the organization
  • Support business needs and collaborate with key business stakeholders
Education, Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Forecasting, problem-solving, data mining, data and metrics interpreting, reporting.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ work-related experience with similar responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office. Highly skilled in Excel.
  • A natural curiosity for learning and exploring new topic areas and market segments.
