Scholarships Available for Indigenous Youths
As part of our ongoing commitment to advancing reconciliation and respecting Indigenous rights, the Canadian Institute is dedicated to amplifying Indigenous voices and perspectives at our events. We recognize the deep value Indigenous nations place on their youth as future leaders, and we continue to learn from that guidance. In this spirit, we are proud to offer ten complimentary conference passes to Indigenous youth (ages 18–30) who are working or studying in the following fields:
- Indigenous Law
- Policy
- Economic development
- Environmental Issues
- Social Services for Indigenous communities
How it works: register first, then nominate.
The first ten individuals to register and pay for the conference will be eligible to nominate an Indigenous youth for a scholarship pass.
To submit a nomination, please fill out the form and include the following information:
- Your conference order number (provided with your registration confirmation email)
- The name and contact information of the youth
- Proof of the youth’s studies or employment in a relevant field (such as a transcript, letter of enrolment, letter from the employer, etc.)
We are excited to welcome the next generation of Indigenous leaders to the conversation.
