Many provincial and territorial governments are now requiring cumulative effects assessments as part of their environmental assessment processes but a lack of consistent guidance on how to most effectively assess cumulative effects has been challenging for practitioners. Determining an acceptable threshold for cumulative effects can also contribute to the complexity due to a lack of available data and inconsistencies from one project to the next. This workshop will examine the tools and practices required for effective CE management and will be valuable for both new and experienced cumulative effects professionals.
