Bridging Communities, Nations, Government, and Industry

For over three decades, CI’s Indigenous Affairs Series has been a trusted, comprehensive resource addressing the most pressing issues facing Indigenous communities across Canada.

Our conferences bring together Indigenous rights holders, government decision-makers, and leaders from the natural resources, infrastructure, and energy sectors. Each event fosters a neutral, collaborative space where all voices are heard, respected, and engaged.

Covering critical areas – from duty to consult, land claims, and cumulative effects assessments, to environmental stewardship, mining law, and First Nations housing – the series moves beyond theory to highlight real-world examples of meaningful engagement. Participants gain the knowledge and actionable insights needed to strengthen partnerships, advance responsible development, uphold good governance, and further the path toward reconciliation.

Canadian Institute acknowledges that the Indigenous Peoples of Turtle Island have been the custodians of this land and these waters for generations. We also thank and honour the Indigenous Peoples who share their time and wisdom across our conferences.
