Sarah Rathke is a U.S. partner withthe law firm of Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLC, whose practice focuses on supplychain issues.  She provides bothproactive supply chain legal advice to clients and trial representation in theevent of a supply chain dispute.  Her clientsinclude foreign, domestic, and multi-national companies across industries.  With Rosemary Coates, Sarah is the co-authorof the book, Legal Blacksmith: How to Avoid and Defend Supply Chain Disputes(2016).  The first book of its kind,Legal Blacksmith explains how to optimize supply chain relationships, startingwith marketing outreaches and the supplier bidding process, through handlinglegal disputes when supply chain relationships fail. Sarah has gained areputation as an accomplished trial attorney as well.  In 2012, she was one of three lawyersnationwide appointed to the National Institute for Trial Advocacy’s (NITA) NextGeneration faculty.  She has lectured ontrial advocacy at the Cleveland Marshall School of Law.
