CHARLA HUBER is Communications & Ingidenous Relations, with M'akola Housing Society. Charla Huber is established in the field of Indigenous Relations and has worked with more than 110 Indigenous Communities throughout British Columbia. Through her work Charla has been a key player at M’akola in building relationships with First Nations, and facilitating relationships with municipalities, businesses and organizations. Charla is Indigenous with Chipewyan and Inuit ancestry. Charla uses her communications expertise to provide guidance, advice and direction towards external and internal communications strategies. Charla has a passion for branding, marketing, partnerships and storytelling, and strategically incorporates these into all business communications. Charla is currently working towards her Strategic Communication Management Professional designation through International Business Communicators Association. She also writes a weekly column in the Victoria Times Colonist daily newspaper.
