Exploring an Expanded Range of Duties for Special Constables
This session looks at the new provisions under the Comprehensive Ontario Police Services Act (2019), to more closely regulate the appointment, duties, employment and discipline of special constables. As well, this session explores different police pilot projects whereby special constables are expanding their role.
