The 2027 program focuses on British Columbia\u2019s Emergency and Disaster Management Act (EDMA), Indigenous partnerships, interagency coordination, evacuations, and practical lessons from major disasters.\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"faq-item\">\r\n    <div class=\"faq-question\">Where and when will the conference take place?<\/div>\r\n    <div class=\"faq-answer\">\r\n        The conference takes place February 9\u201310, 2027, at the Coast Capri Hotel, 1171 Harvey Avenue, Kelowna, British Columbia. A pre-conference workshop on emergency preparedness for First Nations communities is scheduled for the morning of February 9.\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"faq-item\">\r\n    <div class=\"faq-question\">Who should attend?<\/div>\r\n    <div class=\"faq-answer\">\r\n        The symposium is designed for emergency management directors and coordinators, First Nations Chiefs and emergency management leaders, disaster risk reduction officers, fire and protective services leaders, infrastructure and utility resilience professionals, and government officials.
