Rotational work and project accommodations are not new to Canada. In Wood Buffalo, given the location, nature and magnitude of development, project accommodations have been, and remain, a constant feature of oil sands activity.
The Wood Buffalo experience, through a growth period and more recently an economic downturn, has numerous lessons for other projects, as they engage with communities and try to align with long-term community plans.
