Signal Hill Petroleum, Inc. (SHP) has been selected as a finalist for the 2013 West Coast Oil and Gas Award in the Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative category. According to the company, its entry outlined SHP’s ongoing philanthropic efforts, including the sponsorship of various recreational and educational programs, and it recently donated $250,000 to California State University Long Beach (CSULB) for the development of an environmental geochemistry laboratory.
