Re-Building and Re-developing Sustainable Healthcare

The healthcare sector in Canada faces a triple-challenge: It must accommodate a growing population, in facilities that are often outdated, all while keeping spending at reasonable amounts. To address shortages and crumbling infrastructure, the new government has pledged to ‘maintain and strengthen hospitals’, but it is of yet unclear how funding models might change moving forward and what it means for Ontario’s healthcare infrastructure.

Building said infrastructure is very complex: planning often begins years before any shovel hits the ground, multiple stakeholders are involved in the project and the pressure to deliver ‘on time and on budget’, is extremely high.

The 3rd Annual Healthcare Infrastructure East forum brings together project stakeholders and will be an opportunity for project directors to learn from each other. Through case studies that establish best practices mistakes can be averted – ultimately saving time and money.

This October, join your peers in capital planning, hospital construction, and redevelopment from all over Eastern Canada to capitalize on the collective project management knowledge in the room. Take away practical advice you can implement to make sure your next project is a success.
