Mark Bennett
Mark is a partner at Cassels Brock &Blakwell LLP and practises in the area of corporate and securities law with anemphasis on corporate finance and mergersand acquisitions transactions. He has experience representing companies and investment dealersin public and private corporate finance transactions,including private placements, acquisition financings and initial public offerings. He also has extensive experience in takeover bids and other merger and acquisition transactions. Mark acts on behalf of clientsin a variety of industries including the e-commerce,mining and technology sectors. He also advises publiccompanies and their boards of directors on variousaspects of securities law compliance issues. Mark was listed in “The Best Lawyers in Canada:Natural Resources Law” in 2006, the National Post andthe Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory 2005 and 2006.



John P. Vettese
John is a partner at Cassels Brock &Blackwell LLP and is the Chair of theSecurities Group. John routinely acts forissuers and investment dealers in their pursuit of both private and public financingin Canada and abroad and in connection with mergersand acquisitions. John has been listed in the CanadianLegal Lexpert Directory in 2005.
